The Social Enterprise Symposium: Transforming Business for the Global Good is an interactive evening  event designed to introduce new approaches for making impactful, lasting social change around the world using market-based approaches. The event brings together private, public and nonprofit practitioners who are crossing traditional barriers to enable social and environmental change.

The event is hosted by the Center for Social Value Creation at the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business, in conjunction with UM's Terp Changemaker Team, a program of Ashoka.
